Refund Policy

At 6Six Needles, we take pride in creating custom products with care and attention to detail. Because many of our products are made to order and customized specifically for each customer, this Refund Policy explains when refunds, replacements, cancellations, and returns may or may not be available.

By placing an order with us, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Custom Orders

Most of our products are custom-made based on the artwork, size, colors, backing, quantity, and other specifications approved by the customer.

Because of the personalized nature of these products:

  • Custom orders are generally non-refundable
  • Custom orders cannot be returned for resale
  • Once production has started, the order usually cannot be canceled

Please make sure all details, artwork, spelling, sizes, colors, and quantities are reviewed carefully before approving production.

2. Order Approval Responsibility

Before production begins, we may provide a digital proof, mockup, or order confirmation for approval.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review and approve all order details, including:

  • Design
  • Text and spelling
  • Size
  • Colors
  • Quantity
  • Backing or finish options
  • Shipping information

Once approval is given, 6Six Needles is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof or approved order details.

3. Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled under the following conditions:

  • Before design work or production has started: cancellation may be accepted
  • After design work has started but before production: a partial refund may be issued, with design/setup charges deducted
  • After production has started: the order is non-cancelable and non-refundable

If mold charges, digitizing fees, artwork setup fees, or sampling costs apply, those charges may be non-refundable even if the order is canceled.

4. Refund Eligibility

A refund may only be considered if:

  • You received the wrong product
  • Your order arrived with a major manufacturing defect
  • Your order was significantly different from the final approved design due to our error
  • Your order was lost in transit and confirmed as lost by the shipping carrier, where applicable

Refunds are not available for:

  • Minor variation in color, size, thread, material, or placement
  • Slight differences caused by screen display, lighting, photography, or production tolerance
  • Issues that were already shown in the approved proof
  • Customer change of mind after production
  • Incorrect information submitted by the customer
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, or other events outside our control

5. Replacements Instead of Refunds

In many cases, if an issue is verified and determined to be our responsibility, we may choose to offer one of the following instead of a refund:

  • A remake of the order
  • A replacement for defective items
  • Store credit
  • A partial refund, where appropriate

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the issue.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an order that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within [3 to 7] days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of packaging, if relevant

If we do not receive notice within this timeframe, the order may be considered accepted.

7. Return of Non-Custom or Eligible Items

If your order includes any non-custom, non-personalized items, those items may be eligible for return only if:

  • They are unused
  • They are in original condition
  • They are returned within [7 to 14] days of delivery
  • They are approved by us in writing before return

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Custom-made items are generally not eligible for return.

8. Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers
  • Customs clearance
  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
  • Weather conditions
  • Force majeure events or other circumstances beyond our control

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer may be required to pay reshipping charges.

9. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are generally non-refundable:

  • Design fees
  • Digitizing charges
  • Mold charges
  • Setup fees
  • Sampling charges
  • Rush order fees
  • Shipping charges, except where required by law or where the error is ours

10. Chargebacks

If there is an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it fairly.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue may delay resolution and may require submission of approved proofs, production records, tracking details, and communication history to the payment provider.
