- Pick what the code should open: a link, email, phone, Wi-Fi or contact card.
- Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- Adjust size, colors or error correction if you need to, then download.
Where businesses use QR codes
Product packaging and shipping inserts that link to setup guides or reorder pages; business cards, flyers and tradeshow materials; restaurant menus; event signage and retail displays; apparel hang tags and woven labels that point to care info or a brand story; stickers on boxes and bags.
Common mistakes
- Printing without a test scan from an actual print proof.
- Removing the blank border (quiet zone). It helps phones find the code.
- Linking to a page you might move later. Use a URL you control so it keeps working.

Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the link or text is stored inside the code itself, so there's no tracking server that can switch it off. The trade-off is that you can't change the destination after printing, so use a link you control.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, emails and social posts. Use SVG for print (packaging, signage, stickers and labels) because it stays sharp at any size.
How small can I print a QR code?
A common rule of thumb is at least about 2 cm (0.8 in) across for short links, and larger for long links or codes scanned from a distance. Test-scan a printed proof with a couple of different phones before a full run.
Can I change the colors?
Yes. Keep the code dark on a light background with strong contrast. Light-on-dark or low-contrast codes may not scan on every phone.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The code is generated in your browser. What you type isn't sent to our servers.
