Why 6Six Needles

Why Brands, Teams and Businesses Choose 6Six Needles

Ordering custom patches usually means paying first and finding out later. We run it the other way round: a free digital mockup before payment, a photo of a real sample before the full run, and a 5-piece minimum so a first order does not have to be a big one.

You approve twice before the full run

A patch is a physical object made from a flat file, and the gap between the two is where orders go wrong. Two approval gates close that gap, so you are never committing a full run on the strength of artwork alone.

  1. Stage 1

    Digital mockup

You see the proposed patch, at the size and construction we recommend, within 24 hours. No payment until you approve the mockup.

  2. Stage 2

    Real sample photo

After approval we produce a real sample and photograph it. That photo is the physical check: color, stitch density, edge finish and size in hand.

  3. Stage 3

    Full production

The run only starts once you approve the sample photo. Standard turnaround is 10–14 business days after sample approval, and every order ships tracked.

More about the company

Real work, not stock photos

Every patch in our gallery is a job we produced and shipped. Look at the stitch edges, the color counts and the size relative to the garment, then compare that against what you need.

Help deciding, before you spend anything

Choosing patches online is hard because the decisions are physical. Which construction holds your detail, how big it should finish, and where it sits on the garment. These tools answer that before an order exists.

Size Guide

Typical finished dimensions by placement, from cap fronts to jacket backs.

You do not need production-ready artwork

Most people start with a logo pulled from a website, a photo of an old patch, or a rough idea. Our Design Studio covers the file work between that and production: logo design, vector conversion, artwork cleanup and color separation. For machine embroidery, see embroidery digitizing or run the digitizing advisor.

Questions people ask before ordering

Why choose 6Six Needles?
Two approvals before the full run, a 5-piece minimum on every patch type, artwork help if your file is not production ready, and instant pricing you can check before you talk to anyone. We have been doing this since 2015.
Can I see the patch before the full order is produced?
Yes, twice. First as a digital mockup, then as a photo of a real production sample. The full run does not start until you approve that photo.
Do I have to pay before seeing the mockup?
No. No payment until you approve the mockup. The digital mockup is free and comes back within 24 hours.
What if I am unsure which patch type to choose?
Upload your artwork to Patch Advisor and it recommends a construction, finished size and backing based on what your design actually contains. We confirm the call again on your mockup.
Can you help if my artwork is not production ready?
Yes. Design Studio covers logo design, vector conversion, artwork cleanup and color separation, and we handle embroidery digitizing for machine embroidery files. A phone photo or a low-resolution logo is a normal starting point.
What is the minimum order?
Every custom patch type starts at 5 pieces: embroidered, woven, printed, chenille, leather, PVC and glow-in-the-dark PVC. Larger quantities simply lower your per-piece price.
How long does production normally take?
Standard turnaround is 10–14 business days after sample approval. Tracked Shipping | No Extra Charges.
